What is CrossFit®?
CrossFit may be many things, but it begins with a belief in fitness. Defined as “constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity”, CrossFit aims to build strength and conditioning through extremely varied and challenging workouts.
CrossFit is great at developing a broad base of fitness. Rather than working muscles in isolation, CrossFit exercises involve the entire body, building a body that is capable of anything and everything. By combining elements of Olympic weightlifting, body weight exercises, cardio, gymnastics, power lifting, core conditioning and more, CrossFit improves overall fitness.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

FREE 9am Class on Saturdays*
If you haven't completed a fundamentals class but you're curious about CrossFit and CrossFit HTF, please join us for a FREE class every Saturday at 9am. You'll have the opportunity to experience a workout as well as chat with one of our coaches before you choose to start your fitness journey.

For all new CrossFit athletes, our Fundamentals Program provides the perfect opportunity to establish your CrossFit foundation. Our Fundamentals Program consists of four practical training sessions. Athletes will learn CrossFit’s nine basic fundamental movements while gaining knowledge of HTF’s philosophy and workout regimen. We emphasize athlete safety as well as how important our HTF community and family is to us. By focusing on safety including proper technique and form, athletes can focus solely on achieving their fitness goals.
Details of HTF’s CrossFit Fundamentals Program:
- Starts on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month
- Classes are held on Tuesday & Thursday at 7:30pm
- Four 60-minute sessions over a two week period
- Each session will include CrossFit Fundamental instruction
- Program is capped at 20 people per class to ensure maximum safety and learning
Once you complete your Fundamentals Program, you'll get two weeks of unlimited access to ALL of our classes.
